Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actress, comedian and television host. Her most famous work is her role as the hostess on Dinner and a Movie (TBS) and environmentalist who was a part of secular humanism as well as environmental issues. Annabelle Gurwitch was a critically-acclaimed actress, and New York Times Bestseller Author. She wrote the memoirs You Said Tomato but I said Shut Up! Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch was the host of Dinner & a Movie on TBS for a number of years. Television viewers will be able to recall her appearances on shows like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown as well as the program on sustainability WA$TED that was shown through The Planet Green Network. Regular TV appearances include PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher and NPR. She also has written op eds, which are featured in the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter satires as well for The New Yorker & McSweeneys.
