Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she was a performer in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia gave her a Bachelor of Arts (with the highest distinction) in Theatre and Communications. When she moved to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in stage, choreographing and acting in more than two dozen productions. The most notable of these was The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly began landing television as well as film roles, while she continued to study in improvisation and in the group The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. Her voice is distinctive, and her petite stature allows her to be able to play many characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts' evil Samara from The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the part of an attorney and a social animal on TV Land's The Exes as a series regular between 2011 and 2015. Also, she was a Regular as the sassy sexpert little sister to Alyssa Milano on ABC's Romantically Challenged as well as the mom in a stressed-out suburban home in the The CW's No Tomorrow. She's lent her singing soprano to several animated cartoons, including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. In recent times, she was in the role of the charming but dimwitted Cloud 9 Employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. In private, she is a quiet person. She is a lover of spending time with her family, including two young children.
