Keira Knightley
Knightley was born in London to the family with actors Will Knightley & Sharman Macdonald as young as six years old was initially employed on TV commercials and films. Knightley played Sabe in a tiny part on the set of Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1998). She made her breakthrough in the 2002 sports film Bend It Like Beckham, in which she portrayed an adult football player. The year 2003 saw Elizabeth Swann, a character from the fantasy show Pirates of the Caribbean became very loved. She was in the love comedy Love Actually (2003) and was called a promising teenager star. Knightley received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her performance as Elizabeth Bennet in Pride & Prejudice (2005). Apart from Atonement as a character, she acted as Georgiana Cavendish and the main character of The Duchess and Anna Karenina's famous socialite. The actress also appeared in contemporary dramas in Begin Again (2013), playing an aspirant singer in Begin Again (2013) and the physician for Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014). Knightley came back to historical dramas, playing Joan Clarke, in The Imitation Game, which was a huge success and earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. In addition, she starred in Colette, as the titular writer.
